Some of my favorite people - who I don’t know personally and have only said “hola, bon día” to - are the retirees I see along my run on Playa Somorrostro. They always seem to be enjoying life, & remind me to find joy even as the world burns. Today they were dancing to “Forever Young.”

Don't know what is going on with my running. I'm not a fast runner at the best of times!

I strained a muscle in my lower abdomen about a week ago. Then my knee started playing up. On top of that, sleep has been a bit sporadic.

I thought I was feeling a bit better today, but as soon as I start running, I just run out of breath.

Managed 100 days of #RunEveryDay, but I think I need a rest for a few days.

#Runna plan definetely on hold for a week.

J'ai l'impression d'être à 1000 lieues de tout ça. J'utilise le téléphone comme GPS sur les itinéraires que je ne connais pas, parce que c'est plus facile que le papier. J'ai un compteur à 10 balles pour savoir quelle distance j'ai parcourue et puis c'est à peu près tout.

Je sais qu'il y a plein d'accros par ici. Je dois être un dinosaure.

Wednesday #Workout:
210 seconds of plank.
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
10 minutes of strength training.
10 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
14.09 KM of #Running (-13°C, -20°C windchill, 83% humidity, and 11 km/hr wind).

Good workouts. Looked at the windchill for a looong time before heading out. Decided I was #TeamsShorts because it's April. Turns out it was fine. 🤔

Run itself was good, even with the snow and ice everywhere. …and it will probably be gone by Saturday. 🤣

1. Both eye surgeries are complete. I’m healing well & released from any restrictions I care about.
2. Returned to work today & was asked if I wanted to join an informal #Running accountability group. We set a goal for the month and share our runs.
3. I went for a run on #RailsToTrails & my pace wasn’t horrible considering how much time I’ve had to rest. I changed the data screens on my #Garmin watch so I can actually read the screens while running.

Weak upper trough in Wrly flow sweeping thru today. Cooler for our Rock Crk. Canyon walk/run and snowing hard at the 2200m start. GYE spring 👍Sun came out after we turned back in too-deep slush past the M-K campground 2350m. Only a moderate W wind, often much worse in there. Easing back into running after straining my MCL 3 weeks ago, so far so good. No ursine friend sign about, moose were in hiding too. 0C at start, warmed up later. #hiking #running #montana #climate #dogs #gye #mountains
