Pica is very intelligent, but the way that she thinks constantly confounds and surprises me.

Normally I give her a small lump of food with her pill, then when she has eaten the pill I give her the main meal. This is because she doesn't always eat every bit of her meal and I need to know she took the pill.

But today I made the mistake of bringing out her main meal first, then remembering the pill and taking the meal away.

She is in the next room sulking because I took the food away.

LMAO

She snuck in and ate the food with the pill after I'd ignored her sulking and sad sounds from the bedroom for about 30min. She was VERY quiet about it and didn't think that I saw her.

She's such a drama queen! "I just can't bear to eat since you have taken away the BIG pile of food😾 I don't even WANT that little pile! 😾 Everything is RUINED!"

All just a show.

Cat's, yall. I tell you. CATS.

(For the relentlessly pro-Pica people: yes, she has the big food now and is eating that too.)

How can there be so many emotions, schemes, indignation, noise, and sheer personality packed into just 6 pounds?

@futurebird it's not "just 6 pounds", it's 6 pounds of cat

@futurebird
I think crows might have cats beat, as measured in units of diva-emotion/kg but mainly because they weigh less than one kg.

@futurebird Lorikeets weigh less and they manage, too.

Probably cat brains are high efficiency per weight, too.
